WHERE IS BROWN DOG TRAINING BASED?
People often ask me where Brown Dog Training is based. When I say "Pembrokeshire", I'm often met with: "yes, but where in Pembrokeshire?".

Here's the thing... training a dog is a bit like learning to drive. You start somewhere with no distractions so you can learn what to do, then gradually you add more and more distractions until you are driving around the town centre in rush-hour!
It's the same with dog training. You don't want every lesson to be held in the same place, as all that will teach your dog is to come when you call them in that particular location. Instead, you start somewhere with no distractions and then after that sessions will be held in places appropriate for where you are in your training plan.
Group classes and workshops are held in various locations across Pembrokeshire and details will be posted on individual events.

ON A WALK
Once your dog has mastered a behaviour we can practice where you usually walk them.
IN A SECURE FIELD
A secure or private field may be appropriate for teaching your dog behaviours like coming when called.
AT HOME
Some behaviours are best taught at home to start with, where there aren't any distractions.
